Mike Samstag, our Tennessee camera operator, at waters edge, working the camera. Mike did a great job for us in Tennessee and was kind enough to go above and beyond his camera operator role and take us to an ideal location for the solo canoe movie. Without his help we would not have been able to do as much as we did in the short period that the weather allowed us. He did great stuff and we happily recommend him! We're hoping to get back down to Tennessee for some spring 2008 fiming. He'll be the first guy we call. For the solo canoe movie, we used a Panasonic HVX200 shooting in 1080i mode. While our current DVDs are in standard definition, the source footage, which remains in high definition, looks absolutely fabulous, to me anyway. I have to admit some bias here......
