Banjo is our little water dog. She does not like to be in it. But she loves being on it. The front hatch is just the right size for her. PFDs now come in little dog sizes and they are called CFDs. Some dogs, especially if they are lean and not bred for water use actually do have a hard time swimming and floating, just like some people. A CFD will help your dog float much easier.

My 5th grade daughter is paddling this Cayuga 130 with ease on a trip to Lake Wazeecha. Although it is sized for adults, this rec kayak works well for the mini-sized person as well. Banjo now has her own CFD and has become a happy little water dog.
