Jimbo, Wendy, and John take a break after paddling from our day one first location into a shallow bay that became the second location as we pursued smallmouth bass in the Chippewa Flowage. Standing up, which these boats are purposely designed for, makes casting a fly rod easier (for me anyway). Wendy, who had never kayaked before, was standing up within ten minutes of first getting in her kayak.
