early June 2008

Before embarking on the five + hour road trip to Hayward, we spent a couple of days on the lakes near Madison. Given the late spring we have had in southern Wisconsin, the bass and bluegills were still on their beds spawning. This makes for some great fishing. We were able to get Jimbo, who hails from Alabama, out on the water and onto largemouth bass, black crappies, and some bluegill.
